Audi a1 dpf mass soot 72g do I need a new one

Hi my pals audi a1 had dash lights on namely gow plug light and engine light got it checked out had two faults egr was needing replaced that was the first problem the second is the dpf filter it is at 72g when we try and regenerate it everything works fine just won't regenerate when we disconnect vag.com goes back into limp mode can any body help thx

Yeah tried that we first had to fix egr because car wouldn't regenerate now that's sorted car goes into regenerate mode through vag.com takes the car out of limp mode when we do that but doesn't do anything for the dpf really just wondering is there to much soot at 72g or could it be something else will post vag results

Yeah replaced egr my self then changed dpf filter but it was second hand now my problem I think is the dpf sensor went to regenerate it today one reading is saying 51 grams of soot the other soot measured at start 22grams then went for a drive the 51 grams stayed the same but the 22grams went down to 4 grams of soot the two measurements seem so far apart so I'm hoping the sensor is faulty because it will not come out of limp mode till the 51 grams is sorted

Thanks for all your help replaced dpf with second hand one off a right off all going great now fingers crossed now what I want to do is clean out old dpf just have to figure how to do it thx
