Ordered my A1 last week, being delivered 15th July hopefully. Purchased a car on route to dealer with the extras i wanted & the colour. Lucky me

I test drove both engines and i preferred the TFSI... It felt lighter up front and a bit nippier than the TDI.
Although resale value on the TDI,£0 Road tax, no Congestion charge and high mpg told me to go for the TDI... Strangely the 185PS is cheaper to insure than all the other models!!!
A remap or tuning box will liven up the TDI and take it to about 130PS and more torque than the 185PS
