I don't know why all this fuss about batteries - they use lots of very rare/expensive materials, lose charge very quickly and need to be replaced every few years - not to mention the massive times to charge.

Hydrogen fuel cells it the only viable alternative fuel out there - quick to refill, longer range, better performance and uses the most abundant fuel in the galaxy - hard to make but not impossible to scale up.

Other than flux-capacitors that is (but now the lybians are nice people, you can't get the plutonium from them - but theres kim-jong-un and t'other nutter setting up shop).
