A1 1,4 TSFI (62 Plate) Need a Spark Plug Replacement Guide

I've just been trying to get the coil packs out of my 1.4 TFSI

The coil packs wont move and you cant remove the connector wires as they are locked in by a plastic tray until they are released (see attached image).

Anyone had any success getting these out to replace the plugs?

It's a 'clever' design by Audi to try and force you to use their dealers to get work done. Ideally you need the correct coil pack puller tool which you can get on Amazon/eBay for £10-15. I have previously managed to slide a thin stainless steel cable tie underneath them and use that to pull them out, but the proper puller is a lot easier.
