there I was this morning scraping the ice off the car, how strange windscreen wipers do not lift off the windscreen more than 1 inch, weird!

Saying that though boy I love my new A1!

yes that is correct the bonnet gets in the way. I just thought it was weird as I had never seen that before lol

Quite normal. There is a way to set them to "1200" - look in the manual

I think it's something like switch the car off then push the wiper switch to manually move the wipers and they should stop at 12 o'clock on the screen.

No, its a specially treated glass that refelects heat. Heated windows are the preserve of Ford, but to be honest, its the most annoying technology to have in your line of vision at night!

But the best thing on a cold frosty morning, will miss the front heated windscreen and after a while you don't notice the lines.

When you unlock your car, put the stalk in to the intermittent position, then press it down for a single wipe and your wipers raise to their widest position.
