Mine tried to clear a light covering of snow. It got 1/3 of the way and then stopped. It has not worked since. I hope it is is a fuse. It is not B16 because that is fine, and the front windscreen wipers work just fine. I hope it is not the motor as that would be a much more expensive fix.

Have you checked the fuse yet? Is it OK? If so, there may be a thermal overload protector for the motor and it will start working again of its own accord "a while later"

I have, and it is good. This was a couple of days ago and any thermal fuse would have reset in the frost.

I got hold of it and tried to twist it back to the start position. There was a slight click, but it did not move far. However that was enough to get it going again. So if yours stops try twisting it. Don't wrench it, and you may get it going again.
