HOW TO - Install a Flat Bottom Steering Wheel !

@ Mr Spike,

Steering wheel on the image is spot on, this wheel will fit an A1 (just slightly different for the one I used). This Sline wheel is slightly thinner than the S5 wheel.

You will need to change your airbag to this one (this is what I purchased) and from this seller (They are being sold as brand new and to be fair quality is excellent),

It's worth mentioning I am in know way affiliated with this ebay seller.

Any more queries, feel free to ask :)

It is indeed. I wanted to keep the S-Line theme along with perforated sections, and have the flat bottom as well!

This came up from a year old new shape A3.

I also like the fact that the S-Line badge area is all Piano Black, and doesn't have a chrome surround like the A1 wheel does.

does a Q3 steering wheel fit an A1 with sport trim? or does it require a different airbag and coding?

There is no coding involved in the switch. I think that whatever flat bottom steering wheel you buy you will always need a different airbag.

if you mean this one

http://i.ebayimg.com/t/Audi-A1-A6-Multi ... n/$_57.JPG

then it looks like the a1 airbag would fit but don't take my word for it
