The Clio looks mint for its age and price, you'll do ok when you resell it for sure.Mrs Lofty has her eye on the new A3, she has owned 2 previously and really liked them, athough I was never that keen on them tbh.I would guess at around £21k for a standard S-Line, I'll wait for the reviews before I make any decisions.

Love Clios!! and that looks like a good'un, especially if it's only short term.

Sorry, don't feel the same about A3s. I guess it depends why you'd be buying one. Clearly they're good cars and practically they do everything you would want from a car...but IMHO they are proper dull. Just don't expect to get that sense of excitement when you see it on your drive. In my humble opinion I reckon you should consider other cars...

Hope you don't mind me giving my honest opinion... :)

Hi, I got it a Brilliant Price so in theory I should make a profit on it as I got it massively under the guide price across the board (private, px, trade, dealer, auction etc).

I just like the A3 ... The whole fiasco with the A1 has kind of tarnished the car for me. I don't suffer from tunnel vision so know not every A1 has the same issues but the A3 is very tempting as it will arrive sooner than an A1, arguably better residuals, I like all the gadgets and the interior looks cool (esp the climate control), nice electric pop up screen and its a new Model. lol

I could be tempted into another A1 ... Ideally one with the COD engine and a MY2013 Spec !

Fair point and a bad experience can definately tarnish the way you feel about a certain model.

Sounds like the A3 makes good sense and in fairness I've obviously not seen the new model yet...at the end of the day it's an Audi and taking some bad experiences out of the mix they're a top marque...and you'll defo be right about the residuals :)

It will be priced against the BMW 1 Series, so probably start around £18K

Someone spotted the £19,700 price when audi put it on their site briefly.

Could be a price error though.

A3 looks cool in the pics, but may have a look at the new A class merc for my next buy. (saving already).
Dont think it will be for a while though, as A1 is going just fine. Any probs and its out though.

Im pretty sure its going to be the A3 ... Looked at the A-Class however to get one like the Pics I can imagine it being a £25,000 + car.
