As my boss is the owner of a nine month old XJ, Rybrook Chester invited him and myself, to their F type open day, two years ago, on a very hot June day.

I was lucky enough to test drive the V8 F type convertible.

What a car, and during our ten mile test drive on public roads in Cheshire, i was averaging a crazy 8mpg.

So much performance from that V8, that it was addictive, but would i pay £83000 for one, Maybe not.
