For me the GT-R represents the latest technological advancement in car performance. So in that perspective I favour the latest over the classics. Unless you're a serious tuner of course, which I'm not.

In the spirit of fast cars, I think you should consider the RS Q3 haha! (And clearly blame your gf!) :mrgreen:

The wife is currently taking driving lessons and was saying last night if she passes we should get an Evoque... Strangely im not allowed one but its ok when she passes. Hmmmmm.

The interior is great! Meridian sound system and glass roof!

What's the insurance on it like for her as a new driver?

Not sure but she is in her 30's and is on my 2.0BE insurance on a provisional and my insurance was reduced by £50 and i pay about £200 a year.

I was lucky enough to own a set of Meridian Active speakers many years ago. Loved those speakers!

I don't think I would get insured on a RS Q3!

why haven't they released an SQ3 before an RS Q3?

I think they have the same engine just likely less tuned in the rsq3 but it sounds amazing
