Audi R8 with 5-arm "rotor" wheels

Postby AONE » Wed Aug 01, 2012 9:47 am

Morning all,

Happy first of the month. I have just been browsing Pistonheads and came across this R8 with the rotor alloy wheels. Not seen the two together before. Looks good although not as striking as perhaps the standard V10 wheels, but I like! (the interior makes a change too).

The Cherry black comes out better in the photos on the Audi network link.
Audi A1, a grey one.

Lovely cars. Think the standard V10 wheels look far more striking though. :D

Also if you've ever driven an R8, it has surprisingly heavy steering. Almost feels like driving my old mini when parking/slow driving. My best mate has the R8 V10, lucky guy lol. ;)

You can adjust the A1's steering if you want it heavier!

I bet that R8 is immense! He must be a entrepreneur or a lotto winner! ;)

Yeah, I have heard you can change things like that with VAGCOM...guessing you can do it mojito? :P

And yep it is crazy. I was in it last weekend in Leeds while we were chasing this Ferrari California. :o

Yes! I have changed my steering feel.

That R8 sounds lovely! I was expecting to see something happen at the lights at the end! ;)
